Data security is one of the highest priorities of ACTIVE Network Faith. Since Fellowship One contains highly personal data, it is very important that you, as the administrator keep some security practices in mind.
To access the Security options, a portal user must have both Security Officer and Administrator security rights. Security is applied by clicking Admin > Security Setup > Portal Users. Click the actions gear beside the portal user to work with and then select Edit rights.
Carefully determine which portal users can see confidential items such as note types, relationship types, confidential contacts and confidential activities. See Manage User Security Rights for details about each access right.
In Fellowship One, passwords must follow the conventions listed below. If any password is entered that does not meet these conventions, it is rejected.
We require a complicated password because it is much more difficult for a hacker to crack than a short password with no constraints.
In cases where you must dismiss a portal user from his or her portal duties, you should immediately disable his or her account. See Disabling a user account.
